Just finished reading #ttlg and fell in love with #fenkag. I now have a headcannon that while Fen gets snarly when anyone other than Kag touches him, he is REALLY cuddly/clingy with her. Since the rest of the gang knows he doesn't like to be touched, they're all WTF O_o when he pretty much glues himself to her. Meanwhile Kag is perfectly happy to have someone to cuddle with.

Also YES???!!! Like it no doubt took a while but theirtravels together slowly but surely fostered a comfortable intimacy between them.This is how they work together so fluidly when it comes to fighting, consciousof the other to they fight in tandem.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say he’s cuddly (maybe not until they’reactually like, together at least? esp. when they’re in public?) but clingy?? YES esp.around the time they’ve just been reunited he’d be SUCH a HOVERER. And he’d bethe one initiating touch, like, sitting so close next to her in the Hanged Man oraround the camp fire that they’re brushing arms. Catching her hand when Kagomeholds something up for him to see. Fingers brushing as he takes her mug to gether a refill.
And the gang like you said are just stunned, speechless and staring mesmerized as they watch the pairbefore them bc it’s twilight zone level weird. Even Hawke, who’s heard ofKagome before, is a little surprised just how at… home the two are with eachother.
Man haha, this makes me wish I took a little more timewriting about the time they were traveling together to showcase how they got tothis point over time *pouts*
