Internally, heâs screaming.
Externally, heâs staying very still.
Maybe, just maybe, the actual Devil will pass him over.
     â â You wanna know something funny ?? â
He says it out of boredom - right now, he wants to start a conversation - he despises being left in his own silence. He takes off the bright pink coat, revealing his blue bedazzled dress while throwing it into the corner.
â â All these other costumes are mine, but I stole this outfit. I donât know who the hell owns it, but found it in one of Gothamâs theaters. â

She wasnât sure how to respond this time-- something about him felt.. different. It wasnât like she was dealing with one of the other crime lords of the series or even someone like Killer Croc. Something felt inherently wrong about the-- well, to be fair she was simply assuming man. No matter how off-putting this was, however? She didnât let it show. It seemed like she remembered Mister Sionis mention someone like this in passing-- it seemed heâd riled quite a few of those who had iron grips on the city.
In a very odd and uncharacteristic moment- she seems almost awestruck as she observes him. What-- what had happened to cause this? There was the barest desire to reach out and touch the petals on the mask- the ones that seemed to breath with life. She remains reserved, however-- staying quiet for the moment- quiet and still.
â--Bloom, yes?â
The few words escape her in a voice that is, oddly, less than confident. It was hard to find her voice-- hard to really comprehend this massive man that towered over her.

âAh yes. So original. Another âbrilliantâ mind picking apart a childrenâs story and pointing out the symbolism as if that makes them some sort of insightful genius. As if art was made to be told the meaning rather than interpret it for ourselves as capable thinking individuals. Why, it would be just unheard of for the cards to have just... Planted the wrong color flowers for a picky, unreasonable Queen. It has to mean something.â
âAnything can be a metaphor if you look at it hard enough my, tall, wiry friend. That doesnât make it insightful and that doesnât mean you know anything at all. Just like the flowers from the story. So presumptuous and so rude.â

One of the reasons why Batmanâs history has been celebrated for almost 78 years is his incredible rogues gallery, where Batman has fought countless villains, some only once and some for decades. Here is an account slideshow showcasing 25 Batman villains over the last 75+ years in order of their debut in comic books! Doctor Death (Detective Comics (Vol 1) 29, July 1939); The Joker (Batman (Vol 1) 1, Spring 1940); Catwoman (Batman (Vol 1) 1, Spring 1940); The Penguin (Detective Comics 58, December 1941); Two-Face (Detective Comics 66, August 1942); Deadshot (Batman 59, June/July 1950); Calendar Man (Detective Comics 259, September 1958); Mr. Freeze (Batman 121, February 1959 (as Mr. Zero)); Owlman (Justice League of America (Vol 1) 29, August 1964); Poison Ivy (Batman 181, June 1966); Man-Bat (Detective Comics 400, June 1970); Raâs al Ghul (Batman 232, June 1971); Lady Shiva (Richard Dragon, Kung Fu Fighter 5, December 1975); Deathstroke (New Teen Titans 2, December 1980); Killer Croc (Detective Comics 523, February 1983); Black Mask (Batman 386, August 1985); Carmine Falcone (Batman 404, 1987); Victor Zsasz (Batman: Shadow of the Batman 1, June 1992); Bane (Batman: Vengeance of Bane 1, January 1993); Harley Quinn (The Batman Adventures 12, September 1993); Hush (Batman 619, September 2003); Doctor Simon Hurt (Batman 673, June 2008); Court of Owls (Batman (Vol 2) 2, December 2011); Talon (William Cobb) (Batman (Vol 2) 2, December 2011); Mister Bloom (Batman 43, October 2015)! While this is only a small look at the infamous gallery, it definitely illustrates how dynamic this mythology continues to be. Who is your favorite Batman rogue? Thanks for following!
