NYC 4019 & 1 more by Robert Thomson Via Flickr: Scanned Photo Postcard Scan is presented for historical/archival purposes No copyright is claimed or intended From the back of the card: "...Between Utica and Albany the NYC's 4-track main line lay close to the canal and the Mohawk River, and this picture, photographed in July of 1952, portrays a typical panorama along that stretch of the route. Identifiable components of the Missourian's assemblage on this occasion are two RPO cars and three associated mail-storage cars arranged alternately behind the locomotive, all followed by the tavern-lounge, a lightweight car which also includes a small baggage compartment. Two lightweight long-distance coaches then precede a heavyweight dining car, behind which are strung out the various sleepers... ...The two units handling the train are GM-EMD E7 No. 4019 and an unidentified E8 model... New York Central System" The post card was published by Vanishing Vistas of Sacramento, CA in 1973. The photo is by Ed Nowak and the text is by Robert A. Le Massena. NYC E7A 4019 (to PC 4019)

I absolutely hate how the majority of older Missourians constantly bring up the, "Well, I'm from the show-me state so you're going to need to show-me" to prove points. Like. Being from the cave state doesn't actually mean shit, Jessica, get it together and just demand citation because you find the speaker to be bogus.
