Five Facts About Yourself
(got tagged by misslibrelula a few days ago, finally getting around to this! <3 )
1. I can say the alphabet backwards very fast.
2. I didn't attend school or have any sort of formal schooling until I was 15.
3. I am a pro at making a fire (my house is heated by a woodstove and a fireplace, so I've gotten a LOT of practice).
4. I once memorized all the countries of the world, their capital cities, and their flags. It was the most interesting and rewarding rote-memorization activity I've ever done.
5. I work as a translator but my passion in life is and will always be music.

Haha, yes :D That's why the Spanish translation goes 'The rain in Seville is just so wonderful' (la lluvia en Sevilla es una pura maravilla) or, in a recent version, 'the rain in Spain bathes beautiful vales' (la lluvia en España bellos valles baña).
Now that's interesting! I hadn't thought about how translating the exercises would go, because clearly you need things that make sense to be practicing, pronunciation-wise. And also true, in Spain :P
