It's a very hurtful thing at times not to be able to see them and talk to them, especially during this pivotal time in my life. It's amazing how much I still need them. If you still have your parents in this life, PLEASE ma'am, PLEASE sir, cherish them. When they're no longer here, their physical absence will be felt every day of your life. Just know that when you see me shining I'm just the moon reflecting the light of the sun.
