What….happened?

What’s my name? I have a name, right?

The mew floated through what they could only describe as null and empty space. They felt pain, and yet it felt so distant.

I died right? I did. I was….killed?

I wasn’t killed.

No.

Yes.

I wasn’t.

I was.

Then everything came rushing back and they found themselves again. Screams rang in the distance as they looked down upon what they now remembered to be the wreckage of their colony, of their home.

Still, they couldn’t recall their name.

Below them, something they could only assume was their body rested, and yet they had a body now? Right? Then what did that make the mew lying peacefully below them?

It didn’t matter. They were here now, they were going to do something with this new state of being.

”There’s someone here. A human, I think.”

Geneva felt her eyes widen in surprise when Missingno spoke, but gave no further indication of shock. “What? Who?”

“No one from the lab. I don’t think anyone survived that incident.” Missingno turned to peer through the leafy branches of the tree they rested in. “Green hair, yellow eyes, and pale. Sound like anyone you might’ve upset recently?”

“No.” Geneva rose. “Stay here Missi. If a human came this far into my territory, they can’t be here for anything good.”

Missingno simply stared at her with those sad yellow eyes. “Wouldn’t it be safer to stay hidden?”

Geneva smiled. “I’m going to simply ask them why they’re here, alright starlight? I’ll be back if things don’t turn ugly, don’t you worry.”
