☂ What’s your favourite season?

Summer! Summer summer summer is the best, especially when I’m in Ireland. The weather is less bad than usual, and on sunny days everyone just skips work (or doesn’t bother going to shops or calling call centres, because why do mundane stuff when you can be outside?) so work isn’t as busy, and we all go outside and have barbecues and go to the beach for walks and play with our dogs… Everyone is so happy and friendly and also because in Ireland we’re on the edge of our timezone so on the longest day of the year it doesn’t get dark until 10:30 at night, so the good days feel like they could last forever…

I really love summer. ✈ Hobbies?

I am really boring to be honest, but I love reading and writing. My room is full of those writerly knick-knacks, and tonnes of stationery. I write most everything long hand, so I use all my journals that I either buy or am given as presents. When I was younger, around 16-19 I loved taekwondo as well, and I really want to get back into that, or some form of martial arts again.

✌ Favourite bands/ singers?

So many…Kate Bush, Lamb, London Grammar, Halou, Stars, Bastille, Clammbon, Damien Rice, Bat for Lashes, Bon Iver, Daughter, Florence and the Machone, and Cold Specs are the ones off the top of my head.My favourite album is Damien Rice’s O, it is the only example of a perfect album I have ever come across. My favourite gig was probably Florence, the band that started me on the track of obsessing over female ethereal vocalists was Lou Rhodes from Lamb. Listen to their song Gorecki; you won’t be disappointed.
