What is thunderstarscode?

Thunderstars code is an au where Thunderstar became so paranoid about molly's ruining his clan that he decided to subjugate them.

So basically, its a Thunderclan misogyny au.

At first his code started with one simple rule, "1. No molly shall ever hold a position of power in Thunderclan."

Then more came as the clan grew.

2. All mollys over 6 moons must be assigned to a tom.

3. When a tom reaches 6 moons he is eligible to own a molly

4. All molly's must be assigned their warrior names by their owners.

5. Molly's may be medicine cats. Provided there is at least one tom in the role as well.

6. All molly's under 12 moons must take heat suppressant herbs, unless ordered otherwise by their owner. Toms under 12 moons may not take their mollys off of heat suppressants.

7. Molly's must obey every order made by their toms. No matter what she thinks, her place is to obey.

8. A molly's kits are her owners, unless he relinquishes the claim.

9. No molly may attend the gatherings. They cannot be trusted not to gossip.

10. When a mollys owner dies, she must be given until sunhigh to grieve, before she is assigned a new owner.

I thought including heat cycles would help somewhat with overpopulation. Also Thunderclan always has the largest territory because they fight and make deals for it. Molly's are allowed to be warriors, only if their owners are okay with it. Its seen as a status symbol to have a strong molly for some.

Most female leaders/ Deputies are just gender swapped in history. Unless their gender was important, then they are just replaced. Except for Doestar. I came up with some fun lore for her.

Mapleshade is the latest. Because of Birchface's status, his mollies were not reassigned. They were just allowed to live.

I can't decide if its just Mapleshade, so for now, its just her.

I've been thinking about how a few canon toms would react to their mollies finding love outside of them/ Thunderclan.

Thrushpelt/ Thrushstar- he accepts it. He loves Bluefur and knows that he owns her, but he can't control her heart. He accepts Mistyfoot and Stonefur as his first litter and his oldest kits. Even if he can't tell them.

Dustpelt- unaware. So in this AU initially he is Squirrelflights owner until she and Brambleclaw go on the journey. But after she vanishes and then Graystripe vanished too, Leafpool is given to him. Dustpelt cares more for Ferncloud, so he's unaware of her meetings with Crowfeather. Their relationship and the three are something that I toss in my head constantly.

It's mostly fine for the top partner, because they see topping as dominant and thats what toms are supposed to be.

Bottoms are more ridiculed, because thats a mollies place.

If undisclosed, well cats still assume.

in the future of thunderclan, would there ever be organised protests from mollies? if so, what would happen?

how would thunderclan react if there were way more she-cats than toms?

Anyway, hopping into it.

It varies by leader, since they assign owners. But most favor themselves and their friends, since mollys are a status symbol. Then the senior warriors/ elders and other high ranks. Its rare for a 6 moon old Tom to actually get a molly when they are apprenticed.

When it does happen, the toms are seen as blessed and mature. Surely the leader saw potential to give them a molly so young.
