"Misogeny" in the Bible
"A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." - 1 Timothy 2:11-12
The esoteric meaning deals about the divine-twin-souls: the divine-female-twin is concerning with meditation, poetry, inspiration and self-improvement of the consciousness ("should learn in quietness", "must be quiet"), while the divine-male-soul is the active part of the human duality, the one which "assume authority over a man", and it's concerning with action and reason.
The female-twin in human being is the "anima" (linked with night, darkness, moon, irrationality) since the male-twin is the intellect (linked with day, light, sun, rationality) illuminated by the divine spirit.
These two principles are present in every aspect of the cosmos in a spiritual way, and also in a physical way in nature. Every religious doctrine (from the ancient India, Mesopothamia, Egypt, to ancient Greece with Orpheus and Pythagoras, Kabbalah, Islam, tibetan and chinese doctrines, and all the animistic shamanic cults) recognizes the duality of the divine and the duality of reality in the cosmos.
