My immediate and unfiltered reaction for you:

Like, his brothers don't even know where he was, but it was just for a couple of minutes, right? So why does he look so wrong? Why does he seem taller? Why is he covered in wounds, and who is he calling out to so desperately if not Leo, who is standing right in front of him trying to calm him down?

This idea has been eating my brain like a worm and I thought i should share it C:

And here they are, refusing him any of that because of a grudge over a title that he couldn’t have meant to steal away. Over a one-sided distrust from something that they’d only heard from Leon’s mouth. Did he know the significance of what he’s taken? Did he know it had been given to him at all?

I think it's supposed to be a serious question, but it always gets me for some reason. "Is he voiding"🤣 Nah, he's not the one who's gonna end up out in the void. Leon's got the poofing powers right now.

I was wondering, in light of the recent concerns about Tumblr potentially shutting down, do you have any plans to post your fic elsewhere, like Ao3?

Thank you!! I’m trying to write them so they’re recognizable to all who might read it, but it’s never a bad idea to visit all the source material before reading over fanfiction. (I revisit plenty myself!)

….I haven’t heard any concerns about Tumblr shutting down….

But! Yes, I do have plans to post this AU to A03 in the future! Whether or not it’s the near future is still to be decided, but I do plan on moving it over there eventually! There’s just not a lot of interest here in Tumblr so I haven’t felt the need to store it elsewhere yet :3

I've been drawing a bit more for this au (heeehee) & I already know Dee lost his mask but does Leon still have his? I can't recall atm and I don't want to keep adding it in if it's not even there yk?

Quick Answer:

Yes, Leo does have his mask. I kinda mention it in the second Take but it's very easy to miss. Donnie takes it off while he's looking at Leo's head and then puts it back on after he bandages his head.

“No.” He says, a bit to fast. “It’s just… Interesting…” He adjusts the blue mask, a new splotch of red on the side, back down over the bandage- he removed it? When did he- “And you mean physician.”
