Mishipeshu, also known as the Underwater Panther, is a mythological spirit said to inhabit Lake Superior in central North America. It is often regarded as a symbol of the lake's power, and is told to be able to cause storms, waves, and whirlpools in the lake. It is affiliated with the Ojibwe, Algonquin, Ottawa, Menominee, Shawnee, and Cree tribes.
The appearance is frequently described and depicted as a cross between a cougar and a dragon, though other accounts vary in detail.
Mishipeshu and other water-dwelling beings are generally considered bad-natured, but there are exceptions. While tales tell of the violent storms Mishipeshu causes in order to protect the copper on Michipicoten, it's also said a traveler's offering of tobacco may allow safe passage over the lake on the spirit's good day. The Algonquians regard Mishipeshu as bringers of protection, healing, and medicine.

I'm not sure Kwazii would accept a tobacco gift, so to get past this more orange-hued Mishipeshu, you'll have to find something else of worth to offer. Switching tones here: o-m-g this one was such a "Trust The Process" when it came time to color him DX. I worry he looks moldy, but at the same time I weirdly like it? No matter the colors- long, flowy tails will always be my favorite thing to draw.
Toes apparently not I keep forgetting the TOES
