• ☽ CHILD OF THE CRESCENT-BORN STAR ☾ •
At the base of my spine I carry a truth live like fire,
Of fangs and claws, at my birth given none,
But my innards, they burn with a savage desire,
And I'm not my mother's lone only son.
For this body was cast on earth bare, weak and poor,
The moon that has birthed me, her power lays farther,
I want to embrace it, consume it, make it my cure,
My siblings, they fuel the flames just like fodder
For I'm not my mother's lone only son.
I've seen my reflection bright in true colour,
I dance to the goddess with chant that is sure,
I pray for the night to cleanse me like water,
And I ask for the moon to free her own daughter,
To make my spirit wild and pure.
I walk through the earth knowing now how to call this,
The child of animal alignment and soul.
I dream of my kin as one in the solstice,
Entwined, laid together, finally whole.
