I honestly don't get the whole trope where it's obvious the protagonist likes their friend, and everybody says it's "so obvious" the friend likes them back but like... The friend is dating someone else?? And the whole liking each other has been a thing since before this other person. So like, if it's so obvious WHY ARE THEY DATING SOMEONE ELSE??? "Just go and get them😉. Tell them how you feel!😍" But they're dating someone else "But it's so obvious 😌 that they like you 🤭 not them 😒" then why ARE THEY DATING THEM??!?!
