I’m sorry your favorite white guy turned out to be a shit bag, but these are people that you don’t know, so putting them as the main men you trust is positively absurd.
I get trauma. I do. I have some myself. But as a trans man, I can’t just blame all men for my problems, because then I’m blaming myself. I can blame the shitty men with shitty and shifty behavior, like Ned, for what has happened to me and so many other people.
I beg you, please look at the bigger picture rather then depending on people you don’t know to have a steady relationship with a gender that takes up half the world. Just because a parasocial relationship broke down does mean you now ‘can’t trust men anymore’- you couldn’t trust him in the first place! You don’t know each other!
Sorry if you look at this and immediately think of me as a ‘not all men’ MRA. That’s not what I am. I just hate all the ‘men🙄’ comments when one man fucked up.
