#mis trazos #feanorianweek #caranthir #feanorians #tolkien world #silmarillion #I initially drew a lot of flowers around him #but you know what #it looks better with only a handfull in the chest #and this one was harder than the other drawings because it's upside down #that alone was complicated to draw #plus the occipital bone #that was a whle nightmare #because in diagrams it looks easy enough #but it add the jaw and the other bones and the foramen magnun and ugh #I just gave up on the skull #I will have o wait for another event to study skulls harder #overall I think I did alright in this feanorianweek #non omnis moriar series

other times just 147 strokes over half baked pencil sketches drawn in the bad side of the sketchbook

Either way, I send this kind of nonsense to the @tolkienrsb team every year hoping the participant writers get the vision.
