They are just random things:

- Elena (when human) has sensitive gums, so even though she is consistent flosser of teeth, they always bleed. So she can’t kiss Stefan right after flossing teeth

- Caroline has a bad allergy to mold when human, which is a big reason why she is a stress cleaner

- Tyler hates drawing people, so he draws monsters, and he did that to be cool and edgy. When he became a monster his art become more tame and he did it to distract from the bloodlust as a hybrid. The one bonding moment he and Klaus had was off screen and about art.

- Jeremy likes digital art a lot more than most, but he doodles a lot on everything. He is better at art than Tyler—- more because it was his passion for longer and had more time for it. But a lot of their animosity begin before Vicky when they realized that Tyler was really quick at learning which Jeremy envied, but Jeremy was better despite being younger.

- Jeremy draws the ghosts he sees, and sometimes he tries to guess dead supernatural people with enough detail to see if he will meet someone new even if they never met

- Matt and Wes Maxfield are second cousins

- Bonnie and Caroline and Elena had a secret language they made in middle school to talk about boys; Bonnie made it the most adapt at language learning

- Caroline learned ASL by her father, but currently only remembers how to finger spell and the signs for yes, now, and why.

-Bonnie is actually fluent in ASL and has the best French of the group, but isn’t fluent at all (puts it in resumes regardless)

- Carol has book club every Saturday in the Mystic Grill, which Sheila, Jenna, Meredith, and Liz used to be apart of, and it was strong of sixteen others, before disbanding when Carol died.

- Elena is a picky eater

- Caroline has a binder of every career she has ever hyperfixated on ever. -Caroline stays in touch with Steven and his daughter after her father's passing.

- Bonnie and Caroline bake together and Elena just offers her kitchen and should never be trusted working in said kitchen.

-Stefan, Caroline, and Bonnie tease Elena for her in ability to cook and bake on the daily

- Caroline used to have a husky named Willow, it was her dad’s and he took the dog during the divorce

- Elena has a fear of horses

Miranda knew who Elijah was, and she saw a chance of getting protection for her family, Elijah was as desperate for family as he was for care. Greyson and Miranda seemed to give him that, and maybe it was fake at first, but it wasn't in the end.

AN - Honestly, I'm a bit Stuck in my head, so decided to play in ficlet/shorts for some rarepairs from this or this to make my mind do Something creative. So have something short and simplistic. (and something that may get expanded later.)

Miranda remembered the name from talking with Abby. The Mikaelson's, one of the Originals. She remembered Abby mentioning them when she told her about them when she mentioned Mikael, a man who was coming for Elena. So when she met Elijah Mikaelson, even if he didn't use that surname when he introduced himself, she'd heard someone else call him it. So when he seemed interested, she took a chance. She drew Greyson into it as well and Greyson did seem interested in the man as well. The three were together for about a year when they introduced him to Elena and Jeremy as he finally moved to Mystic falls. She saw the flicker of recognition from Elijah when he met Elena. Him being at their home was what made Greyson finally realise he was a vampire, and he was slightly upset she hadn't told him. There was tension for a while, before Greyson and Elijah fell back into, almost, the same ease as before. Miranda was happy and was focused on keeping Elijah around and getting him as attached to Jeremy and Elena as them, which didn't seem to take long.

Elijah fell into the domestics with more ease than he'd expected, pretending he didn't care too much about the occasional vervain burns and Greyson asking for his blood to study it, and the Gilberts pretending not to be upset when he'd disappear on occasions. Though, Elijah was searching for a way to either find his family or a way to avenge them. Most likely this was exactly what made him want to cling to the family he'd gained through the couple who'd welcomed him into their life. He'd already lost one.

They became an unconventional family together. Miranda was pleased that it had seemed to work, though she was aware that her and Greyson were just as attached to the vampire. Which Greyson was doing his to ignore, and certainly not letting his brother know about it. But they worked.

When Elena called to be drove home from her high school party Greyson was the one who told Elijah to come along, initially the plan to leave Miranda to stay with Jenna, but then Miranda decided on joining them so Elena could 'boy talk' with her. "We could handle that, Miranda." Elijah had reasoned. "I'm sure you could, but teen girls don't talk to their dad about boy's." She reasoned immediately. "So, let me go." "All three of you go." Jenna told them. "I'll clean up." She said amused. The night still seemed fine, until the car went off the bridge, as they crashed Elijah was already starting to undo his belt when the other man was at the window, Greyson motioned him to Elena in the backseat. And as he did so Greyson started to pass out, Elijah got out and pulled Greyson from the car and out of the water, laying him by Elena the man, teen?, moved to help him as Elijah dove back into the water to pull Miranda out too.

But Miranda didn't wake.
