I have to say, I just finished reading Miracle Simulator. I went into it knowing that it might be triggering for me as someone who has had existential anxiety in the past. But this story was so captivating, and thought-provoking. I don't know what to do with this information, or the fact that I feel very emotional after finishing it. Thank you for making something so incredible, even if it made me confront my demons about the meaning of life, interpersonal relationships, and the fact that stories can touch me so deeply. I suppose my question for you is if you intend this story to be thought-provoking in the way of ethics, or existentialism. Or maybe it is just a beautiful story that exists, just like all of us.

Making Miracle Simulator kind of was my own way of channeling my own anxieties about existence into something positive. Throughout its creation I did have a few moments where I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night being like "do I even exist???" for like a 10 minutes then conking back out and being back to normal in the morning lol. I think making this story did help with those thoughts, as I haven't really had them as often since making it.
