Soulmates always find their way back to each other🥹
I used to watch "Monster Buster Club" in 2010 and I'm aware there was a pilot episode of it which was featured by Marathon in MIPCOM, a cartoon and comic convention in France back in 2006. The only thing I found about it was an image which looked different from the final product. A video of it was resurfaced for several months and it was originally found in a certain website owned by one of the staff who was involved in the show. Here are some difference from the pilot to the main show.
- There Monster Buster Club members are three who are Cathy, Peter and an unknown named boy with brown skin. In the show, the unamed boy with would later revealed to be Chris. Sam, a girl wearing a yellow MBC suit is absent. The appearance of their suits and weapons are different.
- Cathy is a human in the pilot and has a surname starts with G. She also has a mother who called her for dinner. In the show, she is an alien who was born in planet Rhapsodia and has a grandfather named Hugo. Her surname is changed into Smith.
- The idea of a teacher who turned out to be an alien woule be later used through Mr. Gluten in the episode "The Trouble in Troublemaking".
- The song featured in the pilot is titled "Perfect Day" performed by Hoku.
The pilot episode can be watched on Youtube. If you like MBC or happened to watch it before, now is your chance to watch what it originally looked like. These are some images based on the pilot episode for another proof.
To the 5 most loyal Three-Body fans still left on tumblr, I bear news that's both "bad" and good: Tencent's youtube channel just recently turned episode 3 to 30 of Three-Body to members only. The bad news is for those who haven't watched the show, you have no more legal and free access. The good news is that since you didn't bother to watch it in the past 10 months, you deserve to pay for this amazing show in the future.
The removal of free access to the show on youtube was actually talked about by fans after PBS announced the airing of the show in September. Now that more and more paid streaming services and TV channels around the world start to air Three-Body, of course, the free access would be gone.
One more reason behind this might be that Three-Body is participating in MIPCOM Cannes this year (a trade show for TV programs). I heard that our beloved show's poster gets to be displayed at the best spot at the entrance to the main theatre (THEY ACTUALLY PICKED MY FAVE POSTER because that's also my phone's lock screen). Three-Body already aired in 20ish countries, and I hope it will sell big and air in even more countries in the future.
edit in Nov: you can still watch it for free on youtube here from MiGu Official's channel, but they don't have 4k resolution and they have hard Chinese subs. The good thing is they don't have the tencent logo.
'Reunion,' the BBC Studios Sheffield Thriller With a Deaf Protagonist
“Reunion is an old-fashioned thriller that I hope feels like a classic ’70s American thriller but for the present day,” signs William “Billy” Mager as we are seated in an office in Sheffield, just around the corner from the set of the four-episode series for BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. BBC Studios is selling the drama internationally and launching it as a priority title at MIPCOM in…

Jenna Coleman in Cannes!
Jenna is apparently currently in Cannes, during the film festival. Unfortunately, Klokkenluider was not included in the official film selection, and contrary to tabloid claims is not being shown there.
But I thought I would use the opportunity to share some pictures of some previous times when Jenna was in Cannes, for advertising Victoria and The Cry, in 2016, and 2018.
