May I request some headcanons(or whatever you'd like to do) for Preston Garvey x X6-88?
There would be a whole lot of trust issues for them in the beginning. Well..Preston more or less finds it hard to trust X6 considering his job as a courser and his affiliation with the institute....but, because of his compassionate nature he’s willing to give him a chance.
Preston begins to let his guard down after a while though, watching X6 and his general out and about saving innocents. It even came to point of him admiring the man, ergo how he ended up asking him to get some drinks with him so he could properly get to know him.
That’s where it all began.
Someway or another they found each other genuinely enjoying the other’s company, forming a strong bond that began to transcend just being strictly platonic.
After that, there are tons of nights spent with each other trading stories of their pasts. That in itself becomes them showing their scars to each other, an intimate act that only solidified what x6 began to fear he felt. Love.
They may be an unlikely pair but they are cute together, if not absolutely unstoppable. Such a union has a way of making its presence known through the ‘wealth after all.
Some people may not approve of a rising military power member fraternizing with what many considered to be the enemy but..who in their right mind would approach X6 with something that might upset him?
As one could assume, sometimes they argue about moral high ground and things get heated but..they always find a way to reconcile. X6 actually puts a whole lot of effort into it, considering Preston to be one of the very few he likes- the only one he “like” likes.
