Starrosefics: 5 and 15 from the Sensory Prompts for your favorite ship?
Sensory Prompts @starrosefics
cold mud//night wind carrying the scent of freshly baked bread
Favorite ship is incredibly difficult for me to narrow down, so i went with the first ship that came to mind when considering the sensory input in question, hope that’s alright~
“You look lovely like that-” Minto hummed, Marinette looked up from her flowers, it had rained harder than expected and the soil her plants had been growing in had practically turned to mud. “All messed up from working hard, it’s beautiful.”
Marinette felt her cheeks grow warm at the complement. Minto sat daintily on the deck chair she kept on the rooftop balcony, as helpful as someone with a black thumb dared to be in holding the fresh pot of soil on her lap waiting for the flowers to be transferred in. (with a tarp between the pot and her lap as to not dirty her skirt)Â
“Th-Thanks.” Damn her stutter. “You always look really pretty after ballet, so the feeling’s mutual.” Minto squeaked slightly at the compliment, her shy chuckling sounding like the trill of a songbird.Â
“O...Oh! Well... thank you too!”
there was a knock on the balcony hatch, and Marinette bit back a groan when her mother popped her head up, the scent of baking bread drifting onto the wind and assaulting Marinette with a pang of hunger.
“Dinner’s ready girls, Marinette you may want to wash up!” She winked at Marinette’s flustered expression and descending with a small knowing chuckle.
