Silas woke up.. truly their least favorite part of a day. Their bones felt like cement, keeping them right where they where. They lose ther spark more and more with every awful thing happening to them.

Just yesterday when they visited a place they thought save, they where hunted by an 'angel' and nearly cut to pieces again. Why can't they just exist In peace? They didn't choose to exist so why punish them for something out of their control?

Silas curled up a little more, they decided to stay in bed a bit longer... or maybe forever? What's the worse thing that could happen? that they starved to death? Right, die that one thing they literally can't do. A silent tear fell on their pillow, great now they needed to wash it again. Their black tears truly stain everything.

Something shifted and Silas could feel soft feathers glide over their body before they settled again. Silas almost forgot about the comfortable weight of Mint's wing that they where hiding under. Mint that one person who put up with all of Silas's bullshit. That one person who never left.
