Personally, I'd like to see Jimin (and Taemin, too) pair up with non K-pop idols. And yes, please God, women, but why not a Black or Latina woman? Someone who didn't train in Seoul under the K-pop system and can offer something fresh and new?

You may feel differently about Taemin, but I'd love to see Jimin broaden his horizons and his audience. Plus, I think he thrives on new challenges--even when they're very difficult.

Mostly, though, I wonder why we are always limiting our guys to the K-comfort zone?

Anon, you do know that Taemin has a whole MV with Beyonce's dance team, right? Super diverse and unbelievable talented set of people. I would be happy if Taemin kept doing what he's already doing ☺️

I'm not a Jimin expert, but my thoughts are this: Hybe, as a business, have shown they can make illogical, self-harming decisions to further their singular interests. If they don't think someone or a group should have XYZ, they'll block it. If I reflect on what I've seen over the past 5-6 years, I can't help but feel it's in Hybe's best interest for the group to come before anything else, and for the group to not have any members who are huge outliers in terms of talent, appeal etc. It's crazy how they did a solo era and every single member got at least one solo release/album. How they'll deal with it in the future, I don't know, but it's going to be harder to keep everyone on an even pedestal forevermore.

I've seen Taemin a few times, including the "hi-bye" where you walk by, but I've never seen Jimin. That means I can't compare their auras/presences.

Hi Anon! I didn't see anyone being actually weird. The 2Minners I follow posted the challenge and enjoyed it. People were boasting about the real 2Min, but I also think that's fair because in DCM era, 2Min were calling themselves 2Min/Two Min multiple times. Is it a big deal? No, but the ADMINee should have realized there was already a Two Min. 🤭

I do really recommend the mute button. You don't need to make some drama by blocking someone; you can just mute people who annoy you and never worry about them again, lol.

Also, I get the feeling there are loads of new fans - like brand spanking new Hard era babies. I've been a shawol since December 2019, but many of the 2Minners and shawols I know have been around since 2008! 15 years! They've had 2Min for 15 years. Of course they're gonna be like ADMINee wtf. (SHINee 2Min = OG 2Min, 2nd 2Min is Stray Kids 2Min; I think Jimin/Taemin should be MinMin).

Re people being dead serious about 2Min as an actual couple... IDK what to say about that, lol. I'm not into being that serious about shipping, and especially not publicly. "Speculations" etc are best kept in private circles. And I really don't see what Taemin and Minho having a romantic relationship (or not) has to do with Jimin?! Or a ship name?! Ship = fun fantasy play. An actual relationship is a private thing... and again, why would that have any bearing on Jimin? Man has his hands full with the golden maknae.
