#mini castle

Way too cute. I guess it’s good that they rent it for vacations, so many get a chance to stay here. It dates back to 1850 and was originally the gate house for the Dover Castle garrison in Dover, Kent, England, and would make a great place to live.

It has 2 floors, and on the main level, you enter into a cozy living room with a fireplace. 

Next is a dining area with another original fireplace. The table fits in front of a window so you can watch passers-by. How nice it that?

See why you could actually live here? The kitchen is complete with a  washer/dryer and dishwasher. I mean, come on, I wouldn’t want to leave. 

Upstairs is the regal bedroom. Look at the beams in the ceiling.

Isn’t this lovely? And, there ‘s a dresser and armoire, too. 

M’lady’s dressing table is ina space of its own. What a dreamy place.

20K Mini Castle Challenge

The hand built mini castle in Malibu, California is certainly unique. 

It has a small combination kitchen/living room with lovely stained glass windows, beautiful white beams, ceiling fan, & skylights, but I feel that he dropped the ball w/the cabinetry. 

Lift the trap door to go down to the bedroom. 

You can also get to the bedroom from outdoors, if you don’t want to use the stairs. 

There’s an indoor bathroom, which is a definite plus.

And, a nice outdoor barbecue area.
