Because some deranged friends might share, heck some think giving brothers hickeys is normal behaviour. But to most of us, and that includes dermatologists and the beauty industry, you shouldn’t share lip products directly to the mouth because of viruses. You could end up with cold sores ffs.

Also are we meant to believe that Mr oral hygiene is kissing whichever girl of the month with those lips? Sharing his bros lip balm and going about his day? I’d draw the line

I actually would share lipbalm with my bestie, especially in a dry lip emergency, but this is my highly exclusive friend whom I've kissed on the dance floor when we were a little too riled up.
