While travelling with her family and disciples, Qin Su is confronted by the realities of war when they are attacked by the Wen. She's never met him before, but she knows she will do whatever she can to thank him for coming to her rescue.

Saw a fic with Nie Mingjue and Qin Su as a ship and now I'm thinking about it
Wen Qing and NMJ are a great otp but i gotta say you got me seriously shipping QinSu and NMJ. Though now I feel like there’s a weird imbalance since it’s two Jin siblings on the Nie Sect... except I’m contemplating MXY and Wen Ning?? I’m just finding it hilarious that the Jin siblings can be paired to each of the major Sects: Jiang, Wen, Lan, and Nie LOL!
Y’know, a MingSu ship is not without appeal.
She’s smoll (at least in my head canon), he’s very toll.
He angry, she sweet and probably soothing. Bonus points if he becomes very soft when he’s alone with her.
They both care more about what’s in a person’s heart than societal customs, so they would mutually respect each other.
Since Jin GuangYao is her brother, I’m sure she would advocate for him and help Nie MingJue empathize with him.
Plus! Qinghe is near Laoling! They’re neighbors!
(Also: Mo XuanYu, sweet, broken outcast, with force corpse/inner softie Wen Ning as his protector? Hell yes, I could get behind that).
tl;dr: You are correct. Jin sibs go well with any sect. Add correctly, stir in fluff and angst, and you have a loving, healthy relationship.
