Minecraft Weekly Snapshot (12w25a) Overview!
Another weekly snapshot (12w25a) was released this week by Jen Bergensten or @Jeb of @MojangTeam. Although nothing overly special was released, everything released by @MojangTeam is always great! @Jeb announced that they are working hard on bug fixes in order to eventually release the Mincraft 1.3 patch. There is no telling exactly when it will be released at this point, however, we can all hope for the soonest date possible. In this week’s snapshot, a few menus and options where added to the single player world main menu. Villagers will now remove an offer for a trade after you have successfully completed that trade anywhere from three-fifteen times. I personally think that this is a great update, as it will stop people from abusing the testificate trade update, especially when they are offered a trade like: Three raw chicken for one emerald. (Or some other common material for one of a much greater value.) Wooden stairs are now available in all four different colours of wood, joining the sandstone stairs which where added in Minecraft Snapshot Week 21. (12w21a) Hopefully, the wooden halfslabs will follow, and will come in all four colours of wood, as well as sandstone, in the 1.3 patch. @Jeb also announced that a small Ender Chest bug was fixed, and it will no longer empty itself when a player respawn. @MojangTeam also made many other bug fixes and small tweaks that where not mentioned in detail because of their minuscule importance. However, I’m sure that they will be great updates that help the game run more smoothly.
