I just had an epiphany this morning and I really hope this hasn’t been said already. If you watched the older content creators on YouTube, please stick around. The DreamSMP is popular because so many content creators make an appearance on there, interact with each other, make skins matching their story and all have their own storyline that involves each other. It’s BIG and gets a lot of hype. Almost ‘never seen before’ kind of stuff. But it has been seen before. Who do you think those creators watched growing up?

Those of us who watched the older content creators have seen this before. Crafting Dead was a modded version of Minecraft to make the game more like the Walking Dead. Quite a few content creators jumped on the game and created their own storylines. Later down the road, they started to interact with each other and collab, combining all the storylines together. 

It was SUPER cool! Some of these creators that I watched were SkyDoesMinecraft, SGC Barbierian, Shark, FavreMySabre, Aphmau, UniComics, Ross, GhettoGamer, NewScapePro, and so many more. 

AND, this wasn’t the only one, either. FallOut was another one that had creators collabing and creating storylines together.

I wish these were hyped just as much as the DreamSMP. However, maybe the Crafting Dead and FallOut and so many others can be the little golden era for those of us who watched and waited for each episode to come out.

Now I know what I’m going to be rewatching for the next several hours.
