So my friend just put me onto this game called MINDWAVE and i just gotta talk about it, 1st of all I absolutely love how this game looks, from its art style reminding me of Invader zim and omori to even it's overall 2000s vibe which I am a sucket for, i also really love how it kinda blends alot of my favorite concepts and themes like the fact of how it kinda has a similar premise to sao with its concept of being able to play against other players in hopes of reaching the top as well as having to put literal nerual network cables in your head in order to connect to the actual game world, i also especially love how the music kinda gives off alot of adventure time or Steven universe/ rebecca sugar vibes in the sense of just having a really good flow that can easily get stuck in your head ^^;
If i had to choose my favorite song so far i think it would most definitely have to be the one that plays during the 1st official microgame section (although the sky) like that shit just feels like an absolute BOP, i also really love how the game keeps you on your toes everytime by switching inbetween different mechanics during each section showcasing that nothing is ever really the same and can easily throw you off, honestly the whole game itself is actually really good but if I had to say what I absolutely love the most, it would most definitely have to be the concept in my opinion, like the whole concept of being able to enter other people heads just absolutely blows my my mind, especially since it really opens up the door to a whole bunch of possibilities regarding the mindwave system and what type of stuff people could come up with especially if its depending on the type of person, if you haven't checked it out yet then i highly recommend on doing so especially since the demo is currently available on steam, you can even support their kickstarter if you'd like in hopes of getting some cool merch and ect, but anyway those are just my thoughts what do you guys think?
