sheeva!
YAY thank you!!
favorite thing about them: Her design! How am I not gonna stan a tall, buff, four-armed monster lady. I just always loved how she looked. Loved when she would flex in her victory poses, she literally flexes on her opponents how cool is that. She never really got a whole lot of development so I’m glad that she’s been getting a bit more in the last few years, I was super hyped to see her in the MKX comic and then disappointed that she wasn’t actually in the game, and was again super hyped to see her in MK11, and as bad as most of the writing is I do love what they’ve done with Sheeva for the most part. I like knowing more about her relationship with Sindel. I’m gonna take those sentiments and ignore everything else this game tells me about Sindel. I like that she’s a strong and level-headed leader and a brutal warrior, I love the way she plays she’s just super fun and cool and sexy. Was I supposed to pick just one favorite thing? Too bad, have a paragraph
least favorite thing about them: I wouldn’t say there’s anything I dislike about Sheeva in particular, but I am a bit... uncomfortable with the game telling us “Shokan are inherently violent by nature and if they’re not fighting they become lazy, complacent fools so they have to fight” like it’s just a bit. idk it’s uncomfortable, and just in general I don’t like this game’s whole “equal rights for all Outworlders! but also Tarkatans are cannibalistic savages and Kollector and D’Vorah are proof enough that all Naknadan and Kytinn are evil and should die” like. what are they even trying tell us lol should we be sympathizing with all of them or not and also... why are only some of the Outworld species made out to be sympathetic when all of them suffered in some way like. it’s just weird
favorite line: I can’t think of one right now
brOTP: Kitana and Jade! I love that they become allies and I also love what Jade said about how Sheeva always respected Kitana’s opinion above anyone else’s. Like, does it make sense with what we’ve seen in past games? No, but I don’t care cause I like this idea better hghfdj I just like the idea that Kitana had people on her side in Outworld aside from just Jade okay it’s nice! Kitana deserves love and support!
OTP: Sheeva/me. Also not really an otp but the closest thing I guess, I like Sheeva/Sindel but only good Sindel of course
nOTP: Sheeva/any male character. She’s a lesbian
random headcanon: idk I’ve never been good at just spitting out random headcanons, I usually need a prompt of some kind
unpopular opinion: Her face is beautiful dudebros are just mean
song i associate with them: Don’t have one
favorite picture of them:
#4 The mind-body problem 🧠 – A new perspective on the supposed dualism ✨
Can the mind really influence matter? Or are we thinking in completely the wrong direction when it comes to the mind-body problem?
In conversation with Dr. Walter von Lucadou, we explore the boundaries of physics and psychology – from consciousness and embodiment to quantum physics, entanglement, and near-death experiences.

The Mind-Body Problem: A Philosophical and Scientific Exploration
Introduction The relationship between the physical body and the mind has been a subject of debate for centuries. Philosophers and scientists alike have struggled to understand the connection between our physical existence and our consciousness. Some argue that the body and mind are two distinct entities that interact, while others believe that consciousness is simply an extension of the body.…

Bridging the mind-body gap will require a fundamental shift in perspective.

Above is an article of rather philosophical nature, but one I’ve found all accurate in its arguing that said philosophers, agnostics, scientists may have gotten the quest for the nature of consciousness all wrong in that we’ve looked at it from the…
