Hi, hope youâre having a good day!! Apologies for the late response. Time slipped by me, and my memory is quite faulty.
The Aspect of Light is a rather⊠Controversial one, for reasons Iâm sure everyone can assume. Fortunately, I donât care, and I have a lot of thoughts on it. And I mean a lot of them. Hereâs a sample!
Light and Mind are similar in the fact that those Bound to either Aspect have a tendency of wearing a Mask. The biggest difference between them in that department lies in Execution- Those Bound to Mind tend to wear a Mask as a method of Forcing Objectivity, while those Bound to Light tend to wear a Mask⊠By playing a Character. Separation from Surroundings vs. Separation from Self.
Light is an extremely Theatric Aspect. âLights, Cameras, Actionâ is an incredibly relevant phrase, and actually quite an easy and effective way to parse the concept of Lightâs status of Thespianism. âLightsâ has to do with Lightâs embodiment of The Spotlight, âCamerasâ has to do with the highly important running theme of Perception, and âActionâ relates to how Light players tend to safeguard themselves by hiding behind a Character.
Light Players arenât bound to the same Laws of Logic that Mind Players are. This isnât to say all Mind Players are 100% grounded to Objective Reality- their Logic is often inherently Flawed, Biased, and cast from their own Perspective of the matter, as is the Human Experience- what I mean is that the Lightbound can much more readily act in spite of Rationality and Logic. Sometimes the shit theyâre doing just plain makes no sense.
The Lightbound are notorious Gamblers. The Risk-Taking factor is high. Very much so one of the top âFuck Around and Find Outâ Aspects. Fortunately, though, due to their association with Luck, theyâre pretty good at Gambling⊠Usually. Banking on their own Luck too hard results in stern Cosmic Punishment for their Hubristic Actions.
