Honestly I think there’s a lot of potential for this hypothetical concept because there is no way Mr. Turnabout Mc Pokerface is going to share potentially personal information without a fight.
Imagine a new game mechanic that builds upon Mind Chess.
The character the you are interrogating through Mind Chess suddenly starts asking YOU the questions. You’re now on the defensive as the roles have been reversed. The timer once signifying the character’s patience now represents Edgeworth’s willingness to continue being interrogated. Reading the character’s body language you have to determine what information to withhold because if they get what they want then they won’t want to continue this interaction. Some answers will also damage your timer like regular Mind Chess. It’s the stalling game until the player has the opening/steers the conversation to regain control of the interrogation.
