They're no girls toys!

Its Halloween, so its like a legal requirement that Millweave and Tourniquet have to be dressed up like Raggedy Ann & Andy, I dont make the rules.

If anyones got any better ideas for stuff to draw lemme know! I'll always need the practise and variety is the best kind!

So I ended up getting dragged to mcm by mates, was aight but my feet are murder

Within 10 seconds of leaving the house in the pouring rain and getting in a mates car I discovered my actual con badge had disappeared

I just expected that when I lent over to do my shoes up inside it had fallen out so I wasnt too fussed, and it gave me a reason to draw my own badge this year.

And I wasted this opportunity for laughs, when we pulled into a mcdonalds on the outskirts of london I got my pad out, half emptied my hip flask and uh

Couldnt think of anything worth drawing

So I wrote a stupid ass message on it (the first version included my drinking in the mcdonalds and we didnt wanna risk getting kicked out for admitting to turning up (potentially) drunk

Then by the time I decided I was gonna draw millweave I drew his head then we had to leave

Later in the line I realised I took my flask in with me (was gonna leave it in the car) and in a moment of brilliance and dumbfuckery I emptied all of it into a bottle of sparkling water and fucking downed it

And they didnt even check my bag hard enough to find the flask to begin with.

A guy stopped me to read my tag and got a laugh out of it so it was all worth it

I added to the picture anytime I had an opportunity, but in the end I never got past the basic body and just opted to finish it later

I commissioned someone for a cute picture of Brittlebee aswell for £15, wouldve gotten one of my characters but I definitely don't have any actual refs of my characters yet (in the new style atleast)

After getting dumped off and joking about having to hunt for my con badge in an alleyway

There it fucking was.

Floating in a puddle.

Atleast it was laminated.

And now for today.

I woke up actually wanting to draw stuff, so I finished the millweave in the picture, then realising I had a shitload of space and I added moonie for laughs

But then realised there was space for a third character to the left, and I hadnt changed a character to go there

Then I decided sod it and followed the inspiration trail

And I drew Tourniquet in the new style!

Theyve still got the puffy hair, and the hat m needle n shit

But instead of having a big thread spindle on the back for the needle it now feeds off a wooly jumper theyre wearing, no idea what anyone else thinks but I thought it was neat

Shes now got dungarees over said wooly jumper, cos they all do now and its got a bandolier of smaller reels of thread on it

Shes got a Raggedy Ann nose aswell, cos the triangle nose fit better than anything else I could come up with

So with 3 characters who could actually fill the space I finally finished it, way too late for the con but heck, its something decent I guess

Thus concludes the huge text wall for this Sunday

Muh second big ol comic project

Definitely wanna do some more of these at some point, but hopefully with a bit more refinement cos its kinda everywhere

But its millweave taking woolie to meet Thumpfleece and Moonie :3

Pretty happy with this regardless :3

At first it was gonna be millweave just watching Moonie beat on woolie but that just didn't seem right for the character

2-horrific meme picture I did for a friend's birthday thats just a mess, a mess of injokes but definitely a mess

3-a picture of Spunslinger im super happy with, and waiting on a friend to digitise in her style

4-some oddly proportioned millweave and Wooligan wholesome shenanigans, cos 2 warders in a trenchcoat sounded funny to me

1-picture I started drawing to see if I could do motion aight, drew the furthest rights face like shit and covered it with a scarf, which led me onto

2&3 is a new character called Wooligan (Woo-Ligan) theyre millweaves partner and sticking with the football hooliganism theme, they got a flagpole for a weapon cos why not lmao,

3rd is the refined version, I quite like it

4 was me using Pearl and Marinas pose for a reference, looks a bit fucked but the anatomy of sploon characters is nightmarish

Pitching and batting practise with Paperpress and Millweave, because if you cant throw it hard enough find someone with a good swing!
