#millennial thoughts

You know how sometimes, when you flip on and off dating apps, you see a lot of the same guys in your area. And then, one day, a dude you usually see never shows up again. Whenever that happens it’s nice to hear the voice in my head be like: good, I hope he found somebody nice.

So recently I realized that I cannot be a full time student because of my health despite the fact that I'm really close to getting my degree, and that I should probably finish it part time out where my mom lives. There's a lot of choices to make with that and some people I have to talk to to iron out the details but, It's kinda funny. I went and talked to my professors who are like 'oh my God life is going to be so hard for you without a degree. I don't wanna be the kinda person who says you have to have one but it's going to be so hard if you don't' and its like I'm more focused with actually being able to stay alive and keep my sanity than worry about the money. The money won't matter if I'm not alive long enough to get it. And I don't really care about the money anyway I care about the education and just enjoy the act of learning and would like to do so indefinitely. I certainly can't do it the way the current system demands. And it's so funny cause here they are stuck in this mentality of 'here's the way things are right now it's going to be a problem for you' and I'm all 'this is the way things are right now, they are a problem right now.'

i have the kind of love/ hate relationship with millennials bc i lowkey wish i was them but at the same time greatful to be born a few years later
