Milky Mist Dairy Food Limited is set to make history in India’s dairy and food processing sector with a massive ₹2,035 crore ($213 million) IPO launching by late July or early August, marking the largest-ever public market debut by an Indian dairy brand. Structured with a fresh issue of up to ₹1,785 crore and an Offer for Sale of up to ₹250 crore by its founding promoters, the Tamil Nadu-based company—known for its popular paneer, cheese, curd, and butter line—plans to deploy the capital toward expanding manufacturing capacity at its Perundurai mega facility, strengthening cold-chain infrastructure, and clearing existing debt to optimize its balance sheet. Coming at a time when listed dairy peers have faced market headwinds, this milestone listing is being watched closely by investors as a key indicator of long-term demand for organized, high-quality packaged food in India.
