Not at all! I’m more than happy to speak out about my queer story and share it with people who would care to listen <3

So this might come off as oversharing but trust it adds context to the answer—

My Mum has never been the most accepting person throughout her life. She lived by her rules and beliefs and had plenty of prejudice as a devout catholic woman but it all changed when we lost my older sister to depression.

She became much more open then, although not by a lot. When my brother started his transition, it took her 1 month to talk to him again when he cut his hair short. But we slowly educated her, corrected her when she would deadname him or use the wrong pronouns and she learned.

She loved us more than anything in the world, she did more than her beliefs, so she was able to bend them and welcome us with open arms.

She is still a saintly woman, she never misses church and yet she still had enough room in her heart to accept us.

When I got a girlfriend, it wasn’t some grand reveal. I just took her home, and my Mum didn’t make a big deal out of it. She just accepted my girlfriend, invited her to family events and even included her in our plans.

She didn’t have the whole “I accept you” speech with me. We didn’t sit down to talk about it, it just is. I am incredibly lucky, I know that, because this is something a lot of us queer folks dream the world to become. No announcements or coming out, just being able to come home with our partners and have them be accepted without questions.

I think it was my mum’s faith that made her open up to us, contrary to the christian hate that is often thrown at us, her faith made her the lovely person she is today.

So when I married my Wife, it wasn’t a grand reveal. It was a private ceremony with just me and her, and when my Mum learned, she didn’t bat an eye. She just went on as usual, welcoming my wife to our home and buying her souvenirs during her trips.

As for my MIL I can’t really speak much on her but she loves me :)) She’s been super supportive and she treats me very much like her own daughter!

YES I AM! omg I love this ask bc this gives me the perfect opportunity to talk abt my lovely wifee! We got engaged and married pretty much on the same day, on our anniversary and it has been magicalllll all these time with her!

She is so lovely and the best thing to ever happen to meeee! She basically helped me come to terms with my being a lesbian, after spending all my teenage years confused about my gender and sexuality. I’ve basically explored it all, not knowing which box I fit into until I met her and everything fell into place.

Uhh - yeah that's basically it.

I've discussed the whole thing with my girlfriend and I've come to realize that I can write just fine for male characters x reader fanfics but never with female characters - because I have some level of "detachment".

I don't know how to properly express it in words (ironic, given I'm a writer) but I feel like I'm cheating on my girlfriend (in a way?) if I write for female characters but with male characters, I don't even like them like that so it's free for all. . .if you get what I mean?

I just feel icky over thinking of getting all romantic (even if it's just fiction and just in writing) with another woman when I have my beautiful, gorgeous, perfect wife.

I also write mlm and wlw fics for my ships but it just so happens that this blog mainly focuses on marauders & peter parker x reader fics. I have been exploring my options to write for male readers as well but I do not wanna disappoint with my shortcomings so I'm still learning.

one of my epic and amazing coworkers asked me yesterday what baked goods my partner and i like and i was like choc chip cookies and then today when they came to work 😭😭😭 THEY GAVE ME A WHOLE BATCH OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THICK DELIVIOUS COOKIES EVER THEY HAVE M&MS ON TOP AND MELTED CHOC CHIPS ALL THROUGHOUT AND I ALMOST CRIED IN THE MIDDLE IF THE TEA ROOM they told me they added too much flour and to have them with milk or icecream but i couldnt help myself and tried one at the bus stop just nkw and theyre so good too much flour or not 😭😭😭
