#basically tldr

Uhh - yeah that's basically it.

I've discussed the whole thing with my girlfriend and I've come to realize that I can write just fine for male characters x reader fanfics but never with female characters - because I have some level of "detachment".

I don't know how to properly express it in words (ironic, given I'm a writer) but I feel like I'm cheating on my girlfriend (in a way?) if I write for female characters but with male characters, I don't even like them like that so it's free for all. . .if you get what I mean?

I just feel icky over thinking of getting all romantic (even if it's just fiction and just in writing) with another woman when I have my beautiful, gorgeous, perfect wife.

I also write mlm and wlw fics for my ships but it just so happens that this blog mainly focuses on marauders & peter parker x reader fics. I have been exploring my options to write for male readers as well but I do not wanna disappoint with my shortcomings so I'm still learning.

Ok so...

Bartender is a deeply arrogant, jealous and image driven person. Her highest priority is the constant assertion that she is both influential and enviable to her peers.

Her reaction at Ice Skater's plot was less about the betrayal that had been made to the group as a whole, and more about how this action had put Bartender in danger specifically. She saw it as a sign of disrespect.

While she outwardly voiced disgust toward this behavior, her narcissistic thought process couldn't help but cause her to envy Ice Skater's master manipulation. Bartender needed to subconsciously convince herself that she could pull off what Ice Skater could not, lest it destroy her competitive self image.

With their sudden move to the farm and the introduction of the pageant motive, she finally saw a perfect time to strike.

She planned on enlisting Streamer to "accidentally" put Cowboy out with a prank gone wrong. She believed that having with their leader dead and no blood on her hands that she couldn't be caught. She only changed her mind when she sensed that Streamer wouldn't be able to bite her tongue through the entire trial.

I honestly don't remember my original opinion or reaction to Chase Young's introduction because I was like, 7 years old when the show finally aired in my country. I just remembered that lil me had a crush on him out of nowhere that persisted way too long than it should've.

It was only in recent years when I discovered something about myself as I asked myself this question: "Did I actually have a crush on this guy or do I just want to be him?"

ooh this ones fuN - I plan on going into it a lot in the dreaded big dump though also! but eeee!!!! basically a reworded attempt at a synopsis of that section though ;;

well as a start there’s a bunch of people that I wish people knew were Jewish

see: most of the entertainment industry, a lot of scientists, a fuckton of activists and socialists, whole ton of writers, etc etc etc

like Daniel Radcliffe? Jewish. Natalie Portman? Jewish. Jack Black? Rosalind Franklin? Howard Zinn? Noam Chomsky?

Jewish. All of them. All of us.

I don’t know a ton of non-ancient Jewish history, to be honest. All the semi-modern history I know is revolutionary France. I know the ancient figures! 

Reading the Megillah during Purim is always fun, especially when considering the vilified queen Vash’ti through a feminist lens. Also you get to eat the genocidal maniac’s hat and wear ridiculous costumes. It’s a good holiday.

We have tons of stories of wise rabbis and brilliant kings and kind people and really this is a religion based off the virtues of learning and kindness. There’s a lot to look at.
