Katie's POV

"You two go on the drop tower, I'm gonna go get some ice cream" I said to Kiersten and Peyton before leaving them in line by the drop tower. 

I don't know why I agreed to come to the fair with them, these things weren't really my thing. I rather say at home and go on Tumblr, but I guess tonight would be different. 

I walked over to one of the many ice cream trucks and waited in line for my turn. I looked around at all the rides trying to figure out what I wanted to go on next, I looked up at the huge fairest wheel only a few feet away from where I was standing. I sighed to myself once I saw all the couples waiting in line, I really need to get a boyfriend. 

"Next" I heard the owner of the ice cream truck call out. 

"Hi, can I have a small twist with sprinkles?" I asked smiling towards the man. 

"Sure, coming right up" he smiled moving away from the small window and getting my ice cream ready. 

"That'll be $2:50" he said handing me my ice cream. 

"Keep the change" I smiled feeling generous and handing him a crisp five dollar bill. 

As I was walking back towards the drop tour I heard a couple of screams, I didn't pay much attention to it considering it could have been from people on the rides. I kept walking but stopped when I heard more screams, I quickly turned around to see where they were coming from. 

The minute I turned around a boy around my age ran straight into me almost knocking me down. Luckily he caught me before I fell, I can't say the same thing for my ice cream that was now all over the floor. 

"Shit, I am so sorry! Are you okay?" he asked quickly apologizing and looking around. 

"I'm fine, but my ice creams not" I frowned looking at my ice cream on the floor. 

"I'll buy you a new one" He said trying to cheer me up. There were a couples more screams and that's when I saw a group of girls running towards us. 

"fuck!" I heard him mumble "Come with me!" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me along with him. 

"What the fuck is going on!?" I asked confused. I picked up my pace running faster so he wouldn't have to drag me the whole way.

"I'll explain everything once we're alone" he explained to me. 

We ran in line for the spinning strawberries, the boy handed the girl tickets and we went in. Why are we going to ride spinning strawberries? I climbed onto the little platform and stepped inside the strawberry. He closed the little door and let out a deep breath. 

"You going to explain now?" I asked waiting for an explanation for all of this. 

"Well hi to you too" he said sarcastically causing me to roll my eyes. "I'm Madison, I was being chased by my fans and I needed to get away from them. I love them and all but I really just wanted a night for myself" he said his breathing unsteady from all the running. 

"I'm Katie. Running from your fans? I don't mean to sound rude but why do you have fans?" I asked still confused. 

"Nice to meet you Katie. I'm a dancer, I was on America's Best Dance Crew" he explained just as the ride started. 

"Oh, okay I understand now, sorta" I laughed as my hair was whipped in front of my face. 

"Yeah, sorry for dragging you along. If they saw you with me they'd attack you with questions" he laughed helping me move my hair away from my face. 

"OMG! so you're famous! Can I have a picture?" I asked joking, I watched as his face went serious and I started laughing. "I was just kidding!" I laughed. 

"You're not funny" he smirked grabbing onto the handle in front of us. 

"I think i'm fucking hilarious" I said shrugging my shoulders. He let out a little laugh covering it with a cough. 

"See, you laughed, I must be funny" I smiled rubbing it in his face. 

"Okay you're funny" he laughed just as the ride stopped.

Madison opened the little door and stepped out, he stretched out his hand and helped me out of the strawberry. We walked towards the exit, my hand still intertwined with his. 

"So tell me Katie, will I ever see you again?" he asked letting go of my hand. 

"It depends do you want to?" I asked smirking. 

"Well I need to make it up to you for dropping your ice cream" he said reminding me  about the ice cream. 

"True, hand me your phone" I said stretching my hand out. He handed me his phone and I typed in my number before handing it back to him.

"See you soon" he smiled before kissing me on the cheek and leaving.
