I think there were a lot of missed opportunities for crossovers between TVD and TO and I think the biggest one is that Caroline never went looking for Klaus when she turned off her humanity. I think that would've been fun and may have even actually given me a reason to ship them because I promise you he would've been better at getting her to turn her emotions back on than the nonsense we got from the main gang.

Like I adore Aurora and literally penned the ship name with my messy villainshipping hands but there’s a reason they had to make her ‘important’ to the character dev by barely succeeding in convincing us that she’s The Reason Klaus Started on the Bad Path and they had to go there because they couldn’t touch this thing he said about his sister and alongside the Trinity-era context the quote only gets MORE DAMNING
