I’m super late to this one, but I secretly have a crush on this robot.

Someone explain to me why, in the 2K3 series, Tenma made all those fake pictures of Atom and put them in the house?? Why didn’t he just use actual pictures of Tobio?

We know for sure that he has them and that they’re in that house thanks to a previous ep, and obvs Tobio and Astro look basically identical, so what was the big deal??

You mean like why didn't he photoshop those? Or why didn't he just put those up in general? Cause If that I think he didn't put them up because A. You can tell it's not Atom but is Tobio.So would have led to a lot of questions From Atom. Or B. Trigger some memories like how Atom remembered fishing with Ochan and his friends when hearing them in danger. So it would have all led back to the questions of what happened to Tobio and why did you build me I guess???

it's only occuring to me now that actually whenever Atom sees Tobio, whether through a flashback or in a picture or a dream, he nevers says "Oh look it's me", it's always "Oh hey who's this kid i don't recognise". I always just assumed they were completely identical but there's always been hints throughout the series that say they're distinctly different
