PART TWO TAGGED ABOVE.
Rindou Haitani
From the moment Rindou walked through the front door with blood covering his clothes and what appeared to be a stab wound in his arm â anyone couldâve predicted the fight. You stood silently in the kitchen; mouth agape as you watched your blond boyfriend pull the first aid kit from below the sink.
After a couple of minutes of processing what was before you and the situation you found yourself in, your eyebrows furrowed with anger, âRindou, what the fuck?!â
Rindou ignored your statement and continued to wrap a bandage around his arm, blood already seeping through the white bandage. The pain he was experiencing from the wound were expressed on his face clearly, despite his obvious attempt to hide it behind a gritting frown.
You began to make your way towards him, âRin, you need stiches! A bandage is gonna do nothing for it, itâs gonna continue to bleed!â
As your hands tried to stop the mechanical process of winding the bandage around his arm that Rindou had programmed in him, he jerked his arm away from you with an angered scowl on his face, âStop tryinâ to tell me what to fucken do, (Y/n)!â he snapped, violet hues narrowed towards your figure. âI donât need you controllinâ everything that fucken happens in my life, got it?! I can do stuff on my own!â
At the sudden raise of his voice, you couldnât help but back away a little, âI donât âcontrolâ everything that happens in your damn life and I know that you can do stuff on your own,â You argue back. âBut Iâm telling you â wrapping a bandage around that isnât gonna do shit.â
âWhy do you care, huh?!â Rindou yells, slamming his uninjured hand onto the kitchen bench. âWhy does it matter if the wound continues to bleed â its just a scratch!â
You know you should stop and resolve this calmly but right now, it wasnât an option, âWhy do I care? Maybe because its my fucking job as your girlfriend to do so, jackass!â
Even as it was an extremely heated argument, Rindou shouldâve never let the words slip from his mouth, âYeah, well, no need to do that anymore âcause you just got fucken fired from the position!â
A suffocating silence filled the room as Rindou registered what he had just said, his eyes starting to soften as he suddenly felt the anger being replaced with a strong sense of uneasiness and guilt. Like before, you just stood there with a bleakly unreadable expression.
He went to open his mouth but you had already beaten him to it as you spun around on your heels, âFine, then. Do whatever you want and I happily accept my dismissal â I hope you fucking bleed to death.â
Your words were filled with nothing. No anger, passion, or emotion â just empty. The clogs inside Rindouâs head were beginning to turn â had he just lost the one person who he loved so dearly? He shouldâve stayed silent for once.
Wakasa Imaushi
As of late, youâve been experiencing some distance in your relationship. You donât exactly remember when it began and you donât remember when you really started to notice it. Wakasa slowly drifting out of your relationship and out of your life was the only way you could view it as.
For some time, you had tried to reach back out to him but he appeared to be dismissive towards all of your attempts and there was never an explanation as to why. It was beginning to feel pointless. Youâve known Wakasa for years â you probably know his mind better than you know your own.
The neglect was reaching you, the long nights youâd spend laying in an empty bed meant for two. Sometimes, youâd wondered if heâd even come home during the night. Whose to say? Yet, there was always that miniscule of hope within your heart that things would return to how they once were.
So, when you had stumbled across the restaurant reservation ticket conveniently left on the kitchen table and timed for the coming evening â your heart exploded with joy. Maybe this was Wakasa finally coming back to you, just like the old days. Surely him leaving the reservation ticket on the table was a sign he wanted to meet you there tonight.
The place booked was extremely fancy as well, top of the line in the cuisine industry. Soon enough, the evening came and you dressed yourself up into your most expensive dress. You had spent an hour at least on your eyeliner alone and by the time you were finished, it was time to leave. Â
Walking down the street, you soon arrived at the venue but as you entered the restaurant to look for Wakasa, your eyes fell upon the man who had once held your heart â sitting across from another woman. Your heart shattered seeing him smile at the woman, a smile you hadnât experienced in months it felt like.
However long you had been standing there for became irrelevant to you but the moment Wakasaâs eyes briefly gazed across the room and interlocked with your tear-brimmed ones â he immediately stood to his feet. You couldnât deal with this right now, a lame explanation revolving around, it isnât what it looks like.
To save your broken heart from more pain, your feet moved automatically as you pushed past multiple people to exit the venue with Wakasa trailing after you. You ignored he yells for you to stop and it wasnât long before he grabbed your wrist.
â(Y/n), baby,â he pleaded. âLet me explain.â
âGet your hands off me!â You cried, pulling your entire body away and out of his grasp as your teary eyes narrowed at him. âIt all makes such good sense now! The constant ignoring and avoiding!â
âJust give meâ!â
âNo!â You scoffed. âIâve done so much to get you to notice or even acknowledge me lately, and now I know why youâve been so distant!â
â(Y/n)â!â
âYou know, if you werenât happyâŚ.â You sniffled. âYou couldâve just said something to me instead of allowing myself to believe that you actually still cared for me⌠couldâve ended this damn 8-year relationship easier than ending it like thisâŚ.â
âJust fucken listen to me!â Wakasaâs attempts to catch your frazzled mind were pointless, you were losing it over here.
âNo, you listen to me!â You demanded. âWalk your fucking ass back into that venue, enjoy the rest of your goddamn dinner and then take your girl back to your apartment for the night and make sure you treat her fucken right!â
Not even allowing him the chance to speak again, you stormed off in the opposite direction. As you walked aimlessly, realising you had no other place to go â you began to recall what a waste the past 8 years were to you now that they were over.
Haruchiyo Sanzu
âWhere the fuck are my pills?!â
The first thing you heard at 2 a.m. was the over exaggerated yelling of your pink-haired boyfriend, followed by the clashing sound of items hitting the floor. It was a loud enough ruckus to make you move from your bed and out into the lounge room.
Walking out into the lounge room, a yawn escaped your lips as you saw your boyfriend practically running around the house, looking for The Lost Pills. Seeing him so frantic wouldâve made you smile but you could tell that from the tone of his voice, he was sober and he didnât want to be.
âHaru⌠baby?â You yawned once again. âWhat are you looking for, hm?â
Sanzu walks past you towards the dining room and begins to open all the cabinets, âDamn pills, have you seen âem?â
You tapped your chin for a moment, âThe pink and blue ones?â
âYeah,â he replied. âThatâs them.â
âOh, I threw them out.â
Sanzuâs eye twitched, âThe fuck you just sayâŚ?â
You leant your body against the doorwayâs frame as you repeated yourself, âI threw your blue and pink pills out.â
Thatâs how you led to this moment in time, two hours later and you and Sanzu were still at each otherâs throats over the situation of you throwing his pills out.
âI still donât fucken understand!â Sanzu yelled. âWhy the fuck would you through my pills out, huh?! My damn pills!â
You scoffed, âBecause youâre always getting high. Haruchiyo, I donât remember the last time you were remotely sober!â
The pinkette rolled his eyes, âYeah, well, congrats â Iâm sober now! Howâd you fucken like it?!â
âStop yelling at me!â You chimed. âI donât want you to have an overdose, Haru! You take so much during the day to deal with all the Bonten bullshit and sooner or later, youâre gonna drop dead!â
âEver thought that itâs the initial goal, (Y/n)?!â Sanzu sneered. âI can never come home to some quiet housewife, can I? No, I have to come home to an ungrateful house-bitch. Hundreds of bitches out there would kill to be with me and what I could give âem.â
His words painfully stab your heart but do not allow it to stop beating, youâve always been strong⌠just maybe for too long at this point, âWhat are you trying to say?!â
Sanzu grabbed the nearest glass ornament on the table beside him and ditched it against the wall much too close to your now trembling figure, âFor fuckâs sake! Do I need to spell it out for you? Youâre an easy fucken replacement, (Y/n)!â
Youâre unsure whether it would be considered strong or weak to walk away from that situation without another word at the tip of your tongue. Sanzu had always been a wildcard, manic â and unpredictable but you could too. So, when you just walked out of the room, towards the front door, in nothing more than your pyjamas â Sanzu couldnât help but feel more enraged. Were you just dissing him now?
âWhere are you fucken going!?â he shouted.
Your reply was simple, âIâm leaving!â
âHuh?â Sanzu hadnât really thought that youâd be the one to walk out, in his mind, you depended on him too much.
There was nothing stopping your teeth from mashing together in frustration, âDo I need to spell it out for you?! Iâm getting the fuck out of your life so that you can show all of my replacements what is now available!â
With a slam of the door, you were gone and in all honestly, Sanzu was unsure how he felt about it all. Did he really mean what he had said before? Heâs never been sobered long enough to tell if the sober-Sanzu is the one who has the capability of telling the truth.
Apologies for the absence! A lot of exam preparation has been happening lately which has disrupted my updating. I will try to upload 2-3 times a week.
