[Review] NoT Release
CV: Kawamura Masato, Mie Kanade
Better yet, that sickly delightfulness is integrated into an air of oppressive calmness that surrounds these yandere characters played by Kawamura. Ataru does get hysterical sometimes, but usually he talks in a calm and wickedly sweet voice, casually dropping lines like “You never had anywhere to escape, so you should’ve just let yourself get eaten by me from the start.” You can sense the tension even in the little pauses he takes and the little laughs that escape his mouth. I don’t consider myself particularly into yandere, but when Kawamura does his thing, b o y, it just hits different. That’s why whenever I see the “yandere” tag under Kawamura-san’s works, I just instantly go *Vergil’s judgement nut*
