QOTD: What is the BEST trope and your favorite book that uses it? . . I have an obsession with political turmoil, oppressive rulers, and trope-wiseβ the oppressed rising up to reclaim their freedom. My favorite example of this trope is Red Rising. It boasts a world set in the futureβ humans have terraformed all the planets and moons of our galaxy. Despite our vast intelligence, Society is divided into colors. One to rule over all the rest. This is a beautifully dark, heart wrenching story of Breaking the Chains. . . Iβm halfway through Morning Star, the third and final book in the first trilogy. This series will be on my favorite reads of 2020 list, and most likely best books of all-time list as well. I cannot recommend it more. . .
