#midnight walker

In Wyckoff, NJ- legend has it, If you are out between the hours of 9pm-6am on Russel ave. You might see a mysterious man walking with his eyes sewn shut appearing to look into the direction of the cars passing. In 1958, a little girl had died in a hit and run; the body was torn into. People assume it was the daughter of the midnight walker. He could not stand to see the sight of his only child's damaged corpse so he gouged his eyes out. After that he sewed his eyes shut.

They say this man is insane. He walks up and down Russel ave. in search of the driver who killed his daughter. Most people who've seen him says their car automatically goes slow when passing by him. He automatically stops and looks at your car believing it might be the driver. No one knows for sure if this man is a ghost or alive, but he appears to be an old man wearing tattered slacks, a button-down plaid shirt and a sky-blue cardigan and slippers

DO NOT walk there at between the hours of 9pm and 6am. I am not sure if this guy is dangerous, but it would be safe to visit by car.

DO NOT anger him. there have been incidences where people will torment him saying that they had killed his daughter, and it did not end well for them.
