Reaper – MIDI-Editor, Swing
You can set the grid to 16s (swing) in the midi editor or have the grid and snap in triplets without the need to quantize nor use swing at all.

Reaper – MIDI Editor Customization
You can setup single left click insert through mouse modifiers (check preferences menu). I don't think we have an option for right click note modifiers yet... you could try left click to insert, left click on a note to delete... not perfect but close atleast.
To single-click-enter a note assign "Insert note" as left click default action in the "Midi piano roll" context of the Mouse Modifiers (Ctrl-P).
To right-drag-erase notes assign "Erase notes/CC" as right drag default action in the "Midi editor" context of the Mouse Modifiers.
Also, double-click deletes the note by default. If you want that behavior the same as in FLS, you can assign it in the Mouse Modifiers to Edit: Event Properties. The default for that is Ctrl+F2.
Where can I change the midi note color?
You cant freely change the note color like with tracks (you could create you're own color map though), but there's a dropdown at the bottom of the midi editor. I have set mine to "Track".
You can load a midi_note_colormap.png. There are several in the stash.
In the MIDI Editor you can select "Erase notes/CC immediately (suppress right-click menu)" but that's the only way you can suppress the right-click menu.
