Yesterday was very, very cool. I woke up yesterday morning to my wife @daring_danielle asking me about rumors that Calvin Johnson was going to do an in store. I said "No, we are just meeting really quick and I'm going to pick up some records from him" "You should ask him to play an in store" "On a two hour notice? No way. He's not going to go for that. He had kind of a rough day yesterday" "You should ask" "Man, I dont know" "Ask him. Worst he can say is no" And so I did. And he was all over it. And so were you. We had roughly 70 people in for an in store performance on less than 90 minutes notice on a Sunday afternoon where everyone was up til 2 or 3 AM the night before partying with @middlewaves What I didn't know before I asked him is that Calvin LOVES performing. I would reckon to say he likely lives for the chance to do so, whenever, where ever. I was thrilled that he was willing to jump on and give a KILLER, world class performance and didn't hesitate at all to hang out and chat with folks. Yesterday was very, very cool.
