I already know most of my students names. I didn’t even have to play name gems this year. WIN!

I only have one class that is going to be difficult and it’s due to one student. Just one. It’s crazy how one person can change the dynamic of an entire class. Regardless, I really like the kid. They just have a problem controlling themselves. Kid is 12. They will learn.

I’m exhausted by 4pm but I’m on my feet all day walking around. I haven’t allowed myself to get comfy behind my desk during classes because I fear this early students will take advantage of it and it will take me forever to get control back.

I’m extremely happy to be close to home. The staff has been awesome and supportive. The only thing I’m dreading is all the work for the observations and stuff. Also, technology at the school is lacking a bit and no google integration. You win some you lose some.

I’m always down for some advice so shoot it my way if you have any.
