"Come on, don't back out on me now." Kale started with a slight chuckle as he took a step in front of the girl, his weight shifting as he turned and faced her. The blonde haired man smirked slightly at the brunette and took a few steps backwards as he watched her. "You are supposed to be the one that's into all of this scary-haunted-house-in-the-woods shit, Shawny." the boy added, turning his attention back to the direction in which they were facing. The two had made plans to go find the house, the one that they'd been told about all of their lives, which was somewhere in the depths of the woods. Kale would be the first to admit, he hadn't been to keen to the idea at the start, yet, here he was, finding himself more and more anxious to get there, more so to make more memories with his long time best friend, Shawn, and less about finding ghosts, or whatever the two would be finding at this haunted house, if they ever even found it. He allowed himself to look over at the girl and smiled softly. "Who's bright idea was it to find this place anyways?" he asked, looking at her. "I mean, why'd we think to come out here at-": he pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time "-half past midnight anyways?" he allowed a chuckle to escape once again. He wasn't sure if Shawn was still up for it, but he knew one thing was for certain, he wasn't going to back out now.
