Yesterday, the roads in Missouri started getting slick. Even UCM's campus was closed. I had managed to work the majority of my Friday shift before having to leave early. My girlfriend advocates against playing with ice, and it's a wise perspective to have. Thus far, the new employer has been treating me well. I don't expect it to be total paradise all the time as most places of employment have their own quirks and idiosyncrasies. Though I won't talk about it often, I will say that it's not retail and it's a place where I can leave work at work so to speak. With Walmart it was more of a challenge. I am still settling in while figuring out the schedule for a website I am still working on. Oh, and I'm working for the same local tax preparer business. I'll be proofreading data entry to keep accuracy as high as possible while doing the IT work. I was recently able to enable eight displays on a single workstation. I'll have a picture posted later. Suffice it to say that the owner of that business loves to play with technology too, especially after tax season. With the purchase of Yahoo! by Verizon, I don't know what will happen with Tumblr. Hopefully it stays. Otherwise, I will to move my home yet again. If push comes to shove, I'll simply back up what I wrote and restore it later. In the meantime, I plan on posting here more often. After all, I enjoy writing about my life. In the meantime, prepare for more Libertatian oriented essays. That is another big reason I set this up. Hopefully everyone has a happy and safe weekend.
