#mid point method

my partner and I have a composite chart that shows Venus and Mars in the 2nd House. The sign is Scorpio for both. I keep wondering this could be a sensitive spot prone to tension (keeping in mind the myriad of things in the human condition that can be sensitive spots really) ? I'm not concerned per say, just relentlessly curious about all the placements (sincerely, another Gemini Moon).

Mars in the 2nd House composite 

Means two people will put a lot of effort and will into acquiring possessions together. That can be the main drive in the relationship. It can be good when it comes to a business relationship for sure, but since Mars is a self-serving planet by nature, two people will have to be careful not to run through resources too quickly in an attempt to indulge themselves. This placement can also make two people possessive of each other [again, The “I” trait- Mars is not keen on sharing]. Self-esteem is a big factor in 2nd house dealings so two people may find themselves getting their drive from the other person. It may be important to avoid spur-the-moment decisions regarding values or possessions. If one person is in charge of the bank account it’s advisable to be fair and keep the balance. There can also be a butting of heads here about resources and/or values so be sure to temper that.

Venus in the 2nd House Composite

Is at home here since this planet is the ruler of the 2nd. In the composite chart it adds a very “earthy” vibe to the relationship. Since Venus is about the tangible- things very much about the senses. Two people may feel very turned on by each other when security is established- however, there may be this nagging energy of needing to have physical proof [be it sex, gifts, general purchases, etc] of love in order for one or both of you to feel like the relationship is strong and steady. Be sure not to put all your relationship stock on the material.

Composite Mars and Venus in Scorpio

With the composite Mars in Scorpio and Venus in Scorpio, there’ intense give and take here. Scorpio is the ruler of the 8th house which is all about other people’s money, shared and inherited resources, death, sex, etc. As a result, loyalty [emotionally and physically] can be indicated here too. The passion is at an all-time high as well- this can be great when things are going well but can also lead to dramatic blow-ups and even break-ups that can leave two people with hard feelings. It’s hard to be objective about anything when Mars and Venus are touching. Even less so with the Depth Scorpio adds. Attraction and passion is hard to burn out here but it can if things aren’t kept interesting. There’s also a huge amount of jealousy and possessiveness between two people with these planets in this sign. Composite Venus in Scorpio is all or nothing. Extremes in emotional/romantic expression. The type that will fight a rival if a line is crossed. Composite Mars in Scorpio adds this sexual engine that just doesn't stop running. Ever. But again it’s Mars and Venus and Scorpio which is like having Pluto in the mix so as long as maturity is of the utmost importance and first on the list, this can be a beautiful aspect and keep things hot/passionate for a while.
