Paraphrasing for my new boss:
"I'm not a micromanager but I require you to write down how you've spent every second of your day and I need to approve all your communication before you send them. For meetings please write out a flow chart of what you would say and responses to things they might ask. I will also require you to blindly follow all of my suggestions, however if the suggestion blows up in your face it is your fault. If you do a good job I will take that as an act of aggression and respond accordingly to put you in your place.
If you don't do these things I will take it as disobedience and talk down to you like the maggot you are because I am living out some messed up fantasy about controlling other people."
So anyways, I don't do well with authoritative types. It's almost comical how mad the words "no" or "I disagree" make them.
